Damn how is it that you wait so so long for something to come and when it does, it's gone in a blink of an eye. Like this long weekend. Feels like it was just Friday yesterday and damn I didn't do much the entire weekend.

The steamboat was awesome shitzxz. Loads of food and booze which is of course fantastic. Amanda got drunk, which was hilarious. Not that she isn't already when she's sober. We played Indian poker which is actually pretty alright as long as you have reliable alliances. All you have to do is con everyone else and use reverse reverse reverse psychology.

National day, I recited the pledge for the first time this year. I thought this year's showcase was pretty funky though.

Went to Ikea today. Swedish meatballs and chicken wings! Darling tried to con me into believing that the chicken wings were imported from Sweden. Reverse psychology phailed. My tummy is happy, there's only one problem. I WANT MORE. More food, more parties, more alcohol, more long weekends, more time with baby, more kicking ass at dota. Heh. I just gotta survive the next two weeks.
