Don't you worry what the bitter hearts have got to say
After slightly more than a week of staying home and many packets of horrible tasting chinese medicine, I am finally COMPLETELY WELL! Feels good to be going out of the house, even if it is to go to work. Anything's better than house arrest, I can only spend so many hours in bed each day.. I'm not going back to my hardcore training schedule yet though because according to my mum my body is not yet fully recovered. Oh well. Work has been interesting to say the least. 74 cartons of shoes were delivered today. Not scary enough? That's like 900 pairs of shoes. Now are you scared? It was no easy task opening the cartons, moving the shoes, finding space for them and packing them away.. Very very tiring job honestly. I've been getting the funniest customers recently. Today a lady came in, walked right past our big orange sales sign at the entrance, spent 10 minutes browsing through our sales items and then came to ask me if we had any sales going on. Uh, yes madam we do. Yesterday a customer picked up a clutch that was about the size of an A5 paper, maybe smaller and asked my colleague if she can fit an umbrella into it. Uh, no madam. What kind of umbrella does she use?! A tiny minuscule one from Japan that's like 2D or something? Or maybe it's one of those paper umbrella thingys that you always find in cocktail drinks or on birthday cakes.. These are the sort of customers that give us a good laugh. The customer's attitude is so important. There are customers who make or break your day. Some can be so easy to serve while others can be a complete nightmare. So remember if you want good service, don't go into a shop with a look on your face as if everyone there owes you money. It's not going to have pleasant results. If you want to be served nicely, remember your own manners and basic courtesy rules!

We both know I'm not that strong
The weekend has come and gone, so fast! Too fast in fact, but isn't that always the case. FSC was this weekend. I fell short of my target, sigh. I lost to my senior 15-10 in round of 16. My goal was to make it through to quarter-finals at least. Oh well, just gotta train harder etc etc. Darling came down to rescue me from refereeing today at lunchtime. We went down to Plaza Sing to have lunch and watch a movie. We watched Hotel For Dogs. It's a great movie! Very touching and funny. I am a dogs person so I enjoyed the movie tremedously. It even had me in tears at some parts. I give it 5 popcorns! =D Met up with Phelan after that to go play guitar hero 4 at Cathay. We were supposed to try out the drums but it was spoilt ): Went to town after that for dinner, met Shawn, walked about and stuff. Very tiring day, what with the early start and all. So I headed home early. Sigh I'm actually very tired of life right now. In particular my father and his moods. Must remain calm and resist all the damn urges.

You can sit beside me when the world comes down
I am writing from my sick bed. I have no idea how I got sick to begin with. I think it was the sun on Saturday, too damn hot. Now in addition to my bad throat, I have a really bad headache. But I had to crawl outta bed this morning for dental and work. Yes my mum still wanted me to go to work, brilliant. Dropped by Eu Yan Sang clinic after dental for a check out, the doctor says I have respiratory tract infection and my body is really heaty. They gave me enough chinese meds to last me for a week. NOOOOOO D: I think I deserve a pat on the head for eating them so obediently, well at least for today so far. I went into work after that but after two hours my manager told me to go home(YAY). Went home, crawled back into bed, stayed there till dinner time. I had horrible dinner which did not improve my mood. Well at least now my headache's sort of gone. I really hope I'll feel better tomorrow. I gotta train for FSC this weekend!

When no one's in the dark room but me and you..
I finally met up with Zhen Jie after like 2 months I think. That is way way way too long best friend. I went over to his condo first thing in the morning for a swim, I set my alarm clock specially just so I'd wake up on time hha. We swam a little, tanned a lot and talked a whole lot more. Hha I had a good time laughing at his hair, which is actually really not so bad once I got used to it. Sorry I know I'm a horrible friend, always busy and stuff. I promise to try and meet up more often. I hate army for taking you away from me. Now whenever shit happens, I take out my phone to call you but halfway through typing your number I remember oh yeah, damn army. It's depressing. But anyway, I'm glad we finally got to meet up yesterday! It was really good catching up (: Went to meet my boy after that. We watched Coming Soon, it was freaky real real freaky! It took me quite awhile to calm down after the movie. But I guess the plot was pretty good and interesting. I give it 3 popcorns! After the movie we headed down to Cathay to play Guitar Hero World Tour. Needless to say, I got my ass totally whooped. Bah, but they have really good songs though. Omg omg omg I really want to get World Tour!!!(Hint hint) We went to the IT fair after that, freaking crowded as usual. I hate crowds, I cannot stand crowds. I was really glad to get outta there, hha. I started to feel weird after we had dinner though, like drowsy kinda weird. So baby very sweetly offered to send me home in a cab, thank you darling! If he didn't send me home I'd have probably fainted walking home from the bus stop or something. I woke up this morning with a majorly bad sore throat. I sound like darth vader, it's not funny ): I had to run to the toilet to cough up flam like at least 5 times already. I won't give out the gory details here cause it's really bad. I am going to go drink more water and attempt to cough up more flam. Love all of you! (:
Mood: Gross Agenda: Lunch, hopefully ice cream later with darling (: Music: Can't stop falling - This World Fair

Baby would you make me number one on your playlist?
I went to the IT fair today. It's a freaking madhouse and we were there like just 15 minutes after it opened and it was already a madhouse. I hate the stupid crowds. There were so many people around me either standing in the middle of nowhere blocking my way or walking damn slowly like thye have all the time in the world. So annoying, I felt like kicking and punching everyone around me while screaming HELLO I WALK FASTER THAN YOU SO GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY. Not very polite I know but I was very frustrated. Also those promoters giving out flyers everywhere weren't helping too. If I want a flyer, I'll take it from you. DO NOT SHOVE IT IN MY FACE, damn. It's very pleasant, I know you guys are paid to do this shit but hello shoving it into people's faces is not going to make them take it from you. In fact there are people like me who feel like shoving it right back into your face. Okay sorry this is a post full of complaints, it was very stressful being there. I was only there for about 3 hours and I was already exhausted. Imagine working there for the whole day, I think I'll just faint or something. My mind and body just cannot take that much stress. Anyway, on the brighter side of things. My mum bought a new iMAC FOR THE HOUSE AND A NEW MACBOOK FOR ME. Zomfgzxzx. So so pretty. Thank you momma (: Yes and I made a new friend today! He sold me my macbook and the imac for my momma. He very nicely offered to carry the computer down for us but he ended up carrying it all the way to Raffles City for me. Very nice guy, we're friends now and his name is Weizhong! Hha so today I got myself a new computer and a new friend. And moving on, I finally was back with darling today. It's been 6 days, far far far too long. I'm glad it's over. Love you baby (:
