Something different
Just had a nice long showered and scrubbed all the dirt from Malaysia off me. By the way, if your parents ever get an idea about taking a road trip up to Malacca, scream no and run as far away as you can. That is what my family did today. We drove all the way up to Malacca just for lunch. That's all we did there, apart from a little walking around. The food wasn't even fantastic and there was nothing to see or buy there. So basically, we drove all the way there for nothing. I'm all for family bonding and that but seriously, all we did was sleep all the way there and back and watch little mermaid twice. How much bonding is that? Jeez. For christssake, it's the holidays. No one would appreciate being dragged out of bed at 8am in the morning to go tramping off to Malaysia. Plus I also did not appreciate being cooped up in the car for 8 hours, definitely not my idea of fun. Humph. Plus I was sick so I was drinking a lot of water during the drive, a lot of water means more pee, more pee means more trips to the toilet. Definitely not the most ideal of situations. Stupid dirty smelly polluted Malaysia, the horrible air there definitely wasn't doing any good for my sore throat either. What a horrible day, is wanting to stay in nice clean Singapore too much to ask! If you ask me, everyone would have been a lot happier if we had just gone to somewhere nice for lunch and visited the Peranakan museum after that. The only good thing that happened today was that my sister and I got to talk and stuff during the car ride. Sigh and being kept away from my boyfriend is not fun either. Humph. I was so annoyed when I came home I just had to call Zhenjie and rant for awhile. Thank you for being so nice and understanding Mr Im, hha. I guess I'm just really glad that today is over and I'll be seeing my darling boy tomorrow =D

Let's hold on to where we are
Ugh Epee and Sabre today, fenced badly for both ): I screwed up in both finals, I suck! Hha well so we got gold for Epee, gold for Foil but silver for Sabre. We lost by one freaking point to PRC. Vicky actually scored one more point before time was up but she crossed legs, so not counted ): Oh well, everyone fenced their best which is good. Today was our second monthsary! Happy second pingpong boy <3 It was a really awesome day. We decided to head to Sentosa after dinner. We played the Luge 3 times! Awesome stuff really. I love the speed and the adrenalin rush. Taking the Sky Ride with my darling was really nice too (: All in all today was a pretty good day! Especially since I spent it with my boy, even more special. Hehe. We should do stuff like this more often. I loved sitting on the beach with him just relaxing and talking.. I love you Jiajia! Cheers to the many years we have ahead aye <3

You are the one sight my eyes never tire of
Today, first day of NUS Challenge! Vicky, Lizzie and I fenced foil today and we got gold! Hahaha it was pretty fun, different format of competition though. It's much easier and faster which is good for everybody, hha. After the comp Jiajia and I went to Daily Scoop, seriously good ice cream. After our tummies were satisfied, we walked and talked a lot. Spending quality time, which was really really nice (: Headed down to town after that to meet my parents for dinner. We went to this really quaint French roadside place at Little India. It's called The French Stall for those of you who are curious. The place has a great dining atmosphere and very reasonable prices. I love their starters. We had Foie Gras, Mussels and Onion soup! All very yummy, hha. After dinner we went to Robinsons because my momma needed a new pillow and had to pick up some presents for the neighbours. While we were waiting for my momma to pick up her pillow in the bed department, the temptation was too great to resist, I just had to lie down on one of the beds! Hha yes I was that tired. Bouncing up and down on them is really fun too! Lol. After seeing me lie down, my papa promptly followed suit. So with both of us lying comfortably there, I opened my eyes to find ourselves faced with an overenthusiastic sale assistant that had an evil glint in his eyes. I was thinking oh bugger, how are we gonna get out of this one. He started enquiring about our preferences and etc so I told him this bed's too hard, thinking maybe we could get out of this easily. Well it only led him to show us the top of the range beds, which was actually really comfy. I never knew King Koil was that good. I now know more about beds than I wish to know. Like for example individual pocket springs are better because they contour to the shape of your body and double springs are even better. Well in the end, my papa and I managed to make our escape by telling him we'll think about it. It's been a really long and tiring day, nic needs her rest for tomorrow. Epee and Sabre! Hha it's gonna be fun =D

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
It's 12am now so it's officially Christmas day! Merry merry merry Christmas everyone! Eat, drink and be merry. Let your loved ones know that you love them and that you treasure them. On that note, I love you many many many Jiajia! Thank you for coming tonight, it really made my night. Wouldn't have been fun without you (: I'd probably drink a lot more due to loneliness and I'll probably be drunk by now. Anyway as custom for the Soh family, we jumped the gun and attacked the presents at 11.30. Hahaha it's something that happens every year because we're never patient enough. This year I have a grand total of...(drumroll please)...four presents! Hahaha pathetic huh? Oh well, every year the pile just gets smaller and smaller. I'm used to it already, I don't even feel the Christmas feeling anyway. How sad. But anyway, don't let this grump here spoil the magic for everyone else. Go out have fun, partake in the joy of giving. Spread the love.

Do not yell at me
Training camp is finally over! It's been a really long and tiring week, double training every day is absolutely no joke. It felt so good to wake up late today. I've been waking up at like 7.30 everyday for the past week which is no fun at all especially during holidays. We free fenced a lot during the trainings which was alright at first but after the first two days, I was suffering from that Gatorade feeling which I'll have you know absolutely sucks. After a few days I was so sick and tired of training and fencing. It felt like I was at a buffet and I had piled my plate high with fencing and I was gorging on it. But on the last day I got pretty hyped up about stuff again. I'll miss training with the Koreans! They were nice though we couldn't really communicate. The guys are really playful though, hha. Today was boyfriend day! We had a movie marathon again, watched Igor and Yes Man. Both shows were good! Very entertaining, both shows get 4 popcorns. I think Jim Carrey is a brilliant actor, I've always enjoyed movies that he acted in. One of my all time favourites is The Grinch that stole Christmas. It's a kids' film really, but it's still pretty good! Many many films coming up that I wanna watch. Ip Man, The hotel for dogs, Bedtime stories, Australia, The duchess.. So Jiajia must bring me to watch everything okay! Hha. Christmas party at my house tomorrow, I'm pretty excited cause it's been awhile since we had a party. Any excuse to drink, eat and be merry. Hha. I love all of you and Merry Christmas. May Santa make all your wishes come true, especially the material sort. Hahaha.

Do you know that your love is the sweetest sin
The Koreans arrived yesterday night and training camp started today. And by Koreans, I mean Korea's Junior and Cadet national team. There's about 18 of them altogether. I'm not sure about the other weapon groups but there are 6 epeeists, 3 girls and 3 guys. Training camp's everyday, we start from 9am - 12pm and then break for lunch and continue again at 3pm - 6pm. It's bloody tiring work mind you. But it's fun! Hopefully we'll learn lots during this one week and improve! (: The Koreans are very nice and friendly. Hha it was a tad awkward though this morning when we first started off. All the Koreans were lined up on one side and all the Singaporeans were lined up on the other staring at each other. It was like everyone was getting ready for a face off or something. Yeah but Luan broke the ice and got everyone to shake hands and stuff. So it got a bit better though we still don't talk much. Probably because we don't understand each other at all! Hha. Ohwell I am bloody tired. No one ever tags my tagboard. I COMMAND EVERYONE TO TAG,pretty please. Hehe.

Baby when I get you back, I'm gonna show you what I'm made of
I am finally back from Brunei. Four days may sound like a short time, but it felt awfully long. But if you ask me to chose between attending four more days of school and SEAFC, SEAFC wins hands down. The athlete's village was located about five minute's drive away from the airport. It was in some isolated place where there was absolutely nothing to do(which explains why we raped Yanyu at night just for something to do). The closest thing to shopping was The Mall. What mall? THE mall! Apparently there are no other malls nearby so the mall is simply called THE Mall. Things cannot get any more sad than that. The food provided at the athlete's village sucked. I ate one lunch box for trial during the first day I was there. The fish can only be best described as gooey and cold. Ugh. I survived on Ramlee burgers for lunch everyday. We went to the mall twice for dinner and had a gala dinner for one of the nights. So food wasn't that much of a problem. Like the kiasu Singaporeans that we are, my roomies and I brought 2 loafs of bread and loads of cup noodles and other junk food. We didn't even finish everything. We even brought our own bed sheets and pillow cases and toilet paper. Hahaha. That's how bad it was. There was not even toilet paper in the toilets. Our rooms weren't ensuite, we had to use the COMMON TOILETS which was not fun at all. There was no hot water and the doors kept getting stuck which was very irritating. Competition wise, I fenced like shit and am currently in a I-totally-suck mood. Jiaolian's very disappointed. I guess the only thing to do now is train like crazy for Asian Juniors next year. The Korean Junior team will be arriving on the 16th. So it's gonna be a crazy week of hard core training camp and entertaining them. We don't even get to rest after SEAFC D: All in all I guess it wasn't that bad a trip. At least I had awesome roomies, aircon and a comfy bed. It could have been worse. Sigh my week of hell is finally coming to an end. My pingpong boy will be back tomorrow evening! Hooray, it's been six VERY VERY LONG days. I don't know how I survived. Okay I am really tired now, bed time!

Closer
Today my holidays unofficially start! Technically they start next Saturday but next Monday's a public holiday and I'm leaving for Brunei on Tuesday and I'll only be back on Friday afternoon. Which means no more school for me for the rest of the year! =D Whoopee. Today was another self-declared half day. I swear I hate mathematics and computing with a vengeance. Mathematics and computing is the work of the devil and my facilitator is the spawn of the devil. I SWEAR, SHE IS SUCH A BIATCH. Anyway, so my pingpong boy and I decided to leave after meeting one and start the weekend early. We went to Science Centre. Hahaha, it's pretty fun okay! Though the IMAX movie was bloody boring. Later on in the day, we went to Vivo for sushi and to watch Bolt! Bolt was FULLY AWESOME just as was advertised. I give it 5 popcorns! This is a must watch. It was funny, touching and sweet. I always love seeing the bond between pet and owner, even makes me cry at times. Though my absolute favourite character of the show was Rhino! He's a fat, hilarious, enthusiastic, over-excited hamster. So go watch it and have a few good laughs. I'm off to play more playfish games on facebook, I'm very determined to have the biggest brain on my list of friends! Hha.

There is no charge for awesomeness
Today was a FULLY AWESOME day! Notice so far, I only blog about FULLY AWESOME days or REALLY BAD days. I tend to go to the extremes. But I guess those are the only vaguely interesting parts of my life, the extremes that are maybe worth knowing about. The module for today was Basic Sciences II, somebody in the house say MAJOR EW please. Because that's totally how I feel about it. But anyway before I digress too much, I got sick and tired of school after meeting one(it may have had something to do with my boyfriend not being in school to entertain me) so I decided to leave. Now there is absolutely no fun in walking out of class on your own. So I managed to convince about half of the class to leave with me. Awesome shit eh? 10 of us left together during the second break out. Some left to do their own shit and so the remaining partners in crime decided to go to Party world! My first time ever going. We spent the entire time there jumping up and down on the couches screaming(well, I wouldn't call it singing) into the microphones much to the despair of the people in the neighbouring rooms. Andrew is an EXTREMELY good singer, honest to goodness. Ask me for the recordings, I have them! Hehe. So moving on, I left halfway through to meet my other half. I was horribly and inexcusably late for the date so I am extremely sorry darling. We watched Four Christmases! It's a good show, a romantic comedy with good entertainment value. I give it 4 popcorns. So go watch it, hha. When I was walking home, I looked up at the night sky like I always do and guess what I saw? SO MANY PRETTY PRETTY STARS! My mouth literally dropped open. I sat down at the roadside for quite long just gazing up at the stars and dreaming. I was really reluctant to get back into the house. Such a pretty sight, I hope you guys saw them too. Hha. Anyway I'm really brushed and I just about lost my voice from all the screaming today plus I've got a stupid stupid stupid test tomorrow so I should probably hit the sack. Nights! (:
